Remove trim/connectors. Remove assorted screws +2 10mm in console. Undo selector. Lift up and check switch on rear 12v in 12v out. Remove selector from linkage. Unplug connectors. Manouver out. Open selector mechanism. Remove switch assembly.. ah ha cam worn, lube with vaseline.
